The first FIDE rated event of the ACT Chess Year starts on February 15th. It is the 2013 ACT Championships, and is being hosted by the Tuggeranong Chess Club, at Tuggernanong Vikings, Ricardo St, Wanniassa. As is in previous years it will be a 9 round swiss open to all members of the ACT Chess Association (you can join when you enter). There will be 1 round on Friday evening (15th), and then 2 rounds on the 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th of February. The time limit is 90m+30s per move.
