While flicking across the various sports channels I happened upon the half time summary of the Sydney v Collingwood game played this event (Australian Rules Football for those unfamiliar with the team names). One of the analysts was using a chess board to show the movements of the players when his fellow commentator piped in "The way you move those chess pieces reminds me of the great Boris Spassky, who was World Champion in 1985 (sic)".
I give 8/10 for making the effort, but 1/10 for historical accuracy.
