Miniature of the Month - April 2011


Once again I must apologise to those who play the French Defence for presenting another miniature where it goes down in flames. I'm not sure it is really the fault of the opening, more Black's decision to allow Bxg7 by White when he did not have to (8. ... Bf6 was perfectly fine). After that Black's game goes quickly downhill.

Yes, he had to play 8...Bf6...The French is a great defense...The player (not the defense) was at falt here...
