Caught in the alley

This position could be a companion piece to my "Corridor of Certainty" post from a few days back, although
this problem pre-dates the Jun v Larsen game by a number of decades. It is White to play and mate in 4 moves. Like most good problems, the side variations are as interesting as the main line.
