That article is a bit of a stretch, in particular the way they try to argue that the way Kasparov evaluates isn't that different to the way a computer evaluates.
A computer examines millions of positions a second. Humans only examine a few positions per second, if that.
The human "evaluation function" is far, far more complex than any computer.
