After all if the child doesn't learn the painful way (by multiple queening and then stalemating) they may later go on to do it at a higher level. But I understand that for many school comp organisers it is tempting to ban the practice simply out of frustration at it happening so often!Kevin Bonhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06845545257440242894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4459360717297142573.post-87640139961589287582009-04-28T13:56:00.000+10:002009-04-28T13:56:00.000+10:00As do I :)As do I :)OzChess.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10361186495327083764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4459360717297142573.post-87950885282180539642009-04-28T10:18:00.000+10:002009-04-28T10:18:00.000+10:00I prefer to resign my opponents king.I prefer to resign my opponents king.Nick Bearehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05308042500269576403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4459360717297142573.post-11571720478119786612009-04-28T10:08:00.000+10:002009-04-28T10:08:00.000+10:00Thanks Shaun, I never new that there is such a pro...Thanks Shaun, I never new that there is such a problem.
